Our Spaces, 2020

Here I explore the intersection between students and their spaces. Within the time of COVID-19, students have been confined to their spaces now more than ever. How do these students make themselves comfortable and feel at home within these cubicles? Do these rooms reflect their personalities?

Students were asked to pose in the matter that they want to present their room with, some stand, some sit and some lean. Throughout my process I'd explain that they can communicate with us in anyway, whether it is a smile, a laugh, or a straight face, all expressions are welcomed as they get to decide how they want to present themselves. I also explain they do not have to clean their rooms before hand, as rooms are our vulnerable spaces where we get to decompress within these very hectic times. I solely wanted to capture their rooms essence which would allow us to dive into their lives by their spaces.
